Gustav Epple Headquarters
Situated within an industrial context, the competition project for the construction company Gustav Epple proposes a compact solitaire of elegant simplicity and spatial clarity.
The building displays a highly flexible structure of stacked, column free platforms defining a robust and constant framework including the building structure, services and facade. This basic structure is then specifically programmed by different fitout and furniture options that reflect the various needs and can be altered over time.
The regular, daylit platforms are equally spaced apart in three dimensions to create a maximum flexibility in use and a generous spatial quality. A spiral staircase serves as a sculptural object and visible symbol of the vertical connection of all office floors.
